TU’s Best Wild Places partnership with Field and Stream is in its second year, and the list of Best Wild Places has been announced.
Kirk Deeter, field editor for F&S, has posted two days of travelog material from Colorado’s White River at the Field and Stream site, and it’s worth a read if you get the chance. The White River country is some of the wildest, most remote public land left in Colorado, and it’s home to healthy, intact populations of native Colorado cutthroat trout. Unfortunately, development continues to threaten this special place.
Give the story a read, and leave a comment–let Field and Stream know how much you appreciate their conservation efforts and this unique partnership with Trout Unlimited.
