Doug Dear, finalist for the L.L. Bean 2011 Outdoor Hero Award
Douglas Dear, a long-time supporter of Trout Unlimited and a TU life member has been chosen out of a pool of 600 nominees as a finalist for the L.L. Bean 2011 Outdoor Hero Award. In addition to Doug’s contributions to TU over the years, he’s also the guiding force behind Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, an organization that helps America’s veterans recover from the injuries, both physical and emotional, they received while fighting for our country.
