We asked readers to share photos of tattoos that show a love for all things fishing and trout. Needless to say, we haven’t been disappointed.

The tattoo is on the calf of my left leg. i live in reno, nevada and got my tattoo at Wild West Tattoo in reno. i have been fishing since i was 5 years old. i’m 47 now and i got this, my first tattoo, 2 years ago. i wanted a tattoo and thought for years about what to get, until i realized that fishing is my life and i’m going to fish for the rest of my life, so it was obvious that i should get a trout tattoo. ~Julie Walker~
I’ve been a TU member for many years, and enjoying the pursuit of my passion with unbelievable opportunities here in the Great Land. I saw your article in the Fall 2010 Trout magazine, and the request for fly-fishing tattoos. My daughter Jessica, lives in Virginia, and her very creative artist adorned her leg with this salmonoid. The brookie was the creation of Mike Moses, Salvation Tattoo, Richmond, VA.
In the spring 2003 issue of Trout Magazine I was nominated as a Stream Champion. I was so proud of this I had a tattoo put on my left calf. TUSC “Trout Unlimited Stream Champion”. The crossed rods signify the Brotherhood of Trout Fisherman. ~Larry Doebert
These three tattoos belong to Dick Dunphey who lives in Maine and is an avid brook trout fisherman.
I recently got this Rainbow Tattoo and then received the new “TROUT” magazine in the mail and was amazed to see the article about Stefan McLeod. I have always wanted a tattoo and to celebrate completing the Wyoming State Cuttslam this summer I decided to make it O “fish”al and finally get mine. I put it above my ankle on my right leg and it will forever more remind me of the importance of cold water conservation and my love and passion for fly fishing! I am a guide here on the East Coast and devote some of my time volunteering for Casting For Recovery as well as Project Healing Waters. Kathleen “Kiki” Galvin. Vice President of the Northern Virginia Chapter of TU
